The board spent 241 volunteer hours updating our 2016 feasibility study, saving approximately $26,000 in consulting fees.    We have been pursuing partnerships and researching land acquisition.

2019

Much of the board’s efforts were to meet the terms of the $2.5 million dollar bequest.   Unfortunately, we were unable to convince the city to allow the pool to be built in the park, and also unable to convince the donor to change the terms of the bequest.   A new fundraising plan was also adopted.
